A commercial to promote Panasonic's 3D televisions. The challenge was to create a 2D world that morphed into a 3D world featuring a herd of bulls and a high speed car stunt. This was the first 3D commercial to be shot in South Africa. We used tracking vehicles, cranes and high speed phantom cameras to capture the action. It's a challenge on any commercial, 2D or 3D, to get across your message in a short space of time. 3D works best when we can absorb the moment and depth within a shot. I suggested the use of speed ramping to allow us to capture all the action whilst still enjoying key moments of the story in 3D.
